A Warm, individualized Approach to Therapy

If you’re looking for a therapist in Mt. Pleasant or the Charleston area, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for something to change. I’m Dinah Heinrich, LISW-CP, and I provide individual and couples therapy for adolescents and adults. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, grief, body image, and relationship concerns.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we’ll work together to understand what is happening, identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to move toward the life and relationships you want.

I especially enjoy working with college students and young adults as they navigate the transition into adulthood. College can bring tremendous growth, but also anxiety, depression, relationship changes, academic pressure, identity questions, and uncertainty about what comes next. Therapy can provide a place to make sense of these changes while developing greater confidence and a stronger sense of self.

A safe space to slow down and reconnect

In my Mt. Pleasant counseling office, I provide a private, supportive environment where you can begin to unwind and heal. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a place to better understand yourself, build coping skills, and move toward lasting change.
